The right lock, fitted to your door
A lock is only as good as its installation. A strike that's off by an eighth of an inch, a cylinder that isn't tightened, or a bolt that doesn't fully throw will wear out fast and leave the door less secure than it looks.
We've been installing locks in Queens and Manhattan since 1995. We check the door, frame and existing holes first, recommend hardware that fits, and install it so the bolt throws cleanly and the keys turn without forcing.

How long does a lock installation take?
Most single-door installs take about an hour. Doors that need new holes, a mortise pocket or frame work take longer, and we'll tell you up front.
Can you install a lock I bought myself?
Yes. We can install customer-supplied hardware, and we'll let you know honestly if it isn't a good fit for your door.
Do you install high-security locks?
Yes. We install Medeco and Mul-T-Lock cylinders and deadbolts, including restricted keyways.
Do I need an appointment?
